D.L. Koontz

Novelist and award-winning writer, D.L. writes about what she knows: muddled lives, nail-biting unknowns and boundless hope.

She is a former journalist, college instructor, and corporate escapee. Growing up, D.L. learned the power of stories and intrigue from saged storytellers on the front porch of her Appalachian farmhouse. Becoming a writer of romance and suspense was only a matter of time.

Ten years ago, she said goodbye to eight lanes and taillights to move with her husband to a cattle ranch in coastal Georgia. There, she breathes easy, delights in fresh seafood, and learns something new every day.

She has been published in seven languages, and welcomes one and all to her beautiful, crazy, writing corner of the world. She’s written two book series—(The Crossings Trilogy, and the Risky Changes Series), as well as a recently-released standalone book, What the Moon Saw. She is currently working on a YA Fantasy.
